- What is Scripture Fountain?
- A daily scripture project — a short King James Version verse posted twice a day on YouTube (@ScriptureFountain) and TikTok (@scripturefountain), plus a companion website with today's verse, a searchable archive, and the videos themselves.
- Is Scripture Fountain free?
- Yes, always, for the core daily verse. No login, no subscription, nothing to pay to read today's scripture or browse the archive.
- Do I need to create an account?
- No. Everything on the site — today's verse, the archive, watching a video — works without signing up for anything.
- How often is a new scripture posted?
- Twice a day, morning and evening, matching the same schedule as the YouTube and TikTok uploads.
- What Bible translation do you use?
- The King James Version (KJV).
- Can I watch the videos here, or do I have to go to YouTube or TikTok?
- Both — most entries have a "Watch today's video" option that plays right on the page, or you can open it on YouTube if you'd rather watch there.
- How is Scripture Fountain funded, and is it a registered nonprofit?
- It runs on reader donations, not on a registered nonprofit or NPO structure. We've chosen transparency over formal status instead — the About page lays out exactly what donations fund and where any surplus goes, so you can see for yourself rather than take a legal label's word for it.
- Where does my donation actually go?
- Video production, hosting and running this app, and building toward a mobile app on the App Store and Google Play. Any surplus beyond what the project needs is donated to charity, shelters, and animal rescue organizations — see the About page for the full breakdown.
- Do you show ads?
- No, and that's a firm commitment — the app stays ad-free, funded by donations instead.
- Will there be a mobile app?
- Yes — it's an active goal, not just an idea. Part of what donations fund is building and sustaining a native app on the App Store and Google Play.
- Who runs Scripture Fountain?
- It's a small, independently-run project based in Cape Town, South Africa — not a company, not a funded startup.
- I found a mistake, or want to suggest a verse — how do I reach you?
- Use the Contact page — every message goes straight to us.
